RICHMOND, Ky. – Season tickets for the 2010 Eastern Kentucky University football season are on sale now. Colonel fans can secure their seat to watch EKU football in its quest for another conference crown and save up to 20 percent by purchasing season tickets.

Season ticket holders from the 2009 season can guarantee the same seats for the 2010 campaign if they renew their season tickets by July 31. EKU’s home opener is slated for Oct. 2 against Kentucky State. Eastern has four other home dates this fall – Oct. 9 vs. Eastern Illinois (Take a Kid to the Game), Oct. 30 vs. Murray State (Homecoming), Nov. 6 vs. Jacksonville State, and Nov. 20 vs. Austin Peay.

This fall, the EKU football team will be looking to capture its third Ohio Valley Conference crown in the last four years and 21st league title overall. Eastern Kentucky opens the season Sept. 2 at Missouri State.
