RICHMOND, Ky. –
Just over a week ago, the Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team captured the 2013 Ohio Valley Conference title and earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA championships. The Colonels will learn their NCAA first round opponent Tuesday afternoon.

The 2013 NCAA women's tennis 64-team championship field will be announced on NCAA.com at 5:30 p.m.

EKU (19-6) went undefeated in league play in 2013 to tally its third overall title in the last five years. All six players in the singles line-up will return again next year.

The opening two rounds of the 2013 NCAA women's tennis championship will be played between May 10-12. The remaining 16 teams advance to the finals location in Urbana, Ill. (May 17-21).
