RICHMOND, Ky. – Head men’s basketball coach Jeff Neubauer has announced that Harrison Brown, a 6-4 guard from Cincinnati has inked a National Letter of Intent to play for the Colonels next season.
Brown, who has the distinction of becoming Neubauer’s first signee, played at Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati before spending last year at the Air Force Academy Prep School in Colorado Springs, Colo. He is the son of Paul and Wesla Brown.
He led Winton Woods to a 16-7 record during his senior campaign while averaging 10 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He was voted First Team All-FAVC for his efforts.
Neubauer said, “Harrison is a great addition to our program. His versatility is exactly what we are hoping to recruit to EKU Basketball. Harrison handles the ball, passes, shoots and is long enough to to play several positions.”
He continued, “Harrison is a very fluid player. He also possesses an outstanding basketball IQ which will be important in his development as a player.”
