CHARDON, Ohio - With its best score coming in the final round, the Eastern Kentucky men's golf team placed 24th at the 2006 NCAA Central Regionals, ending the event with a three-round total of 929. The Colonels carded a 302 in today's final round, played at the Sand Ridge Golf Club.
Oklahoma State finished first with a score of 845, sixteen strokes ahead of second place finisher Northwestern. The top 10 teams and two individuals not on advancing teams will compete in the next month's NCAA Championships in Sunriver, Oregon.
