FSU Winter XC Classic Live Results I Marshall Classic Live Results
RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's cross country teams will look to build upon impressive season debuts this Friday at the Florida State University Winter XC Classic in Tallahassee, Florida.
The men's 8,000-meter Garnet Race will start at 9:00 a.m. ET. The races features 22 schools, seven of which are nationally ranked, including Iowa State (6), Stanford (12), and Colorado (13). EKU will look to continue a successful start to the season, which saw the Colonels claim the top six spots in their dual meet with Morehead State on January 23.
The women's 6,000-meter Garnet Race will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET. The contest will see the Colonels compete against 22 schools, including six nationally ranked teams, led by Stanford (4), Colorado (8), and Alabama (13). The EKU women enter the meet on the heels of a dual-meet victory over Morehead State.
This is the cross country Colonels' last scheduled event before the OVC Championships, which will be held in Clarksville, Tennessee on March 1.

The EKU women's track and field team will compete at the Marshall University Classic this Saturday, February 6 in Huntington, West Virginia.
The meet will begin at 11:00 a.m. with pole vault, high jump, triple jump, and weight throw contests. Track events begin at 12:30 p.m., concluding with the 4x400-meter relay at 2:50 p.m.
Senior
Quantasia Perry will compete in the 200-meter dash at 2:05 p.m. Perry ran the 200 meters in a time of 24.55 in her season debut last month, at the time the 29
th fastest time in the country.
Standout freshman
Kayla Smith, who holds EKU's fifth fastest time ever in the 60-meter dash, looks to improve on her time of 7.49 on Saturday when she takes the track at 12:45 p.m.
The track and field Colonels' next competition will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Music City Challenge on Saturday, February 13.
