AS A JUNIOR (2011-12)
Played in four of the team’s 12 events … posted an 84.7 stroke average … tied for 22nd among 50 participants at the NewWave Communications Classic with a 36-hole total of 167 … shot a season-low round of 80 at the NewWave Communications Classic.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11)
Appeared in seven of the team’s 12 events … played as an individual six times … finished the season with an 85.0 stroke average … her lowest round of the season was a 79 during the first and third rounds of the Murray State Drake Creek Invitational where she tied for 29th among 55 competitors ... finished fourth at the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Championship during the summer of 2011.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2009-10)
Played in five of the team’s 11 events … finished the season with an 81.8 stroke average … tied for 16th in the first event of the season, the MSU/Marshall/EKU Tri Match … posted lowest single round score of the season, 76, in the second round of the Cincinnati Fall Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008-09)
Made three appearances during her first collegiate season ... received a medical redshirt after missing the remainder of the season with an injury … finished the season with an 84.2 stroke average … tied for 41st at her first collegiate event, the Chris Banister Gamecock Classic.

HIGH SCHOOL
After winning the state team title as a freshman, she helped Lebanon High School to three straight runner-up finishes … in 2007, Schmidt became the first female captain of the Lebanon High School golf team and posted the team’s lowest stroke average ... she finished fifth once and fourth three times at the state high school championship, and was invited to the New England High School Championship four times ... she won the Laconia Invitational in 2005 and 2007 and finished in the top-25 at the state amateur in 2007 … also a member of the LHS downhill and cross country skiing teams.

PERSONAL
Full name is Alexandra Maria Schmidt ... born May 20, 1990 ... daughter of Chris and Annemarie Schmidt ... has two sisters – Lisanne and Colette ... her father Chris played professional volleyball in the Netherlands for 15 years … her sister Lisanne joined the EKU program in 2009 … majoring in business.
