During the summer of 2016, several head coaches and director of athletics Stephen Lochmueller made stops throughout the state during the Colonel Caravan.
The Colonel Caravan made stops in northern Kentucky, Ashland, Pikeville and Louisville.
“For our department and University, this launch is an opportunity to seek out ambassadors for Colonel Nation as we look to grow throughout the Commonwealth and gain the additional support that is required to fulfill our goals and objectives,” said EKU Deputy Director of Athletics Matt Roan. “We hope future years will bring tremendous crowds out in support of the Colonels along with autograph signings, photo opportunities, merchandise stands, and other informational elements.”
