The EKU Softball team is proud to introduce a great way to support the program, leave your mark, and beautify Gertrude Hood Field with the Walk of Excellence.
The Walk of Excellence is a fundraising initiative that allows alumni and friends the opportunity to give back to the softball program and leave their mark with a custom brick. With the thirtieth season upon us in 2023, the EKU Softball program wants the opportunity for alumni and friends to be a part of a specific society that shows their support for not only EKU Softball but Eastern Kentucky University Athletics. The bricks will be located after the ticket entry way of Gertrude Hood Field.
Members of the Walk of Excellence have three tiers to show off their Big E pride and financially support the EKU Softball program.
Tier II - $500 donation
8 x 8 brick featuring the custom Big E logo
Installation fee of $45
Total amount: $545
Tier III - $200 donation
4 x 8 brick featuring the custom Big E logo
Installation fee of $35
Total amount: $235.00

Please refer to the schedule below to see when your brick will be installed. You must submit your Walk of Excellence brick total amount in between the dates in order to guarantee your Walk of Excellence brick to be installed by the date.

Wednesday, December 21 through Tuesday, February 21: Monday, May 1
