CAREER STATISTICS

2015 Scouting Report – Moved from wide receiver to cornerback in the spring…will challenge for a starting spot in the defensive backfield…could be utilized on special teams as a kick/punt returner as well.

At EKU – 2014: Played in ten games at wide receiver while starting in two contests…caught six passes for 120 yards…caught the go-ahead 43 yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter in upset win over FBS Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 6…caught a 29 yard touchdown against UT-Martin…rushed nine times for 68 yards…returned 21 kickoffs for 545 yards…returned a kickoff 66 yards against Austin Peay on Oct. 4…had 149 yards on seven returns against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 11.  2013: Suffered a preseason injury and missed the entire season … moved from defensive back to wide receiver during summer camp. 2012: Played in 10 of 11 games as a reserve defensive back and on special teams … notched a pair of tackles against Purdue (Sept. 1) and Murray State (Nov. 10). 2011: Took a redshirt season … named co-Defensive Future of the Year by his teammates.

High School – First team all-state and all-city … team captain and MVP … 900 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns … 300 yards passing and three scores … 62 yards receiving … 40 tackles … a member of the varsity track team for three years.

Personal – Son of Martez Carter … born on July 24, 1992 … his uncle played football at Middle Tennessee State.
