2023 (Freshman):  Appeared in three games, all off the bench ... Scored the game-winning goal against Eastern Michigan (Sept. 3), first collegiate goal ... Season-high 23 minutes against Miami (Ohio) on the road.

2022 (Freshman):  Appeared in 14 games with one start ... Made her collegiate debut against Kentucky, logging 18 minutes ... First shot attempt in a 1-0 win over Detroit Mercy at home ... First shot on goal against Lipscomb ... Season-high 45 minutes against FGCU at home ... Shot on goal against Kennesaw State ... Finished the season with 350 minutes.

High School/Club Experience:  Attended Clarence Central High School in Clarence, N.Y. and played soccer for Matt Andrews ... Played club soccer for WNY Flash ECNL under Aaron Lyons ... ECNL National Champion in 2021 ... North America Cup with her club team in 2021 ... ODP Regional Team 04 ... Invited to the Women's National ID Center three times during her youth career ... Record of 38-3-3 at CCHS, helped the soccer team win three sectional and regional championships ... Earned offensive MVP honors and was named a captain for three consecutive seasons with the soccer program ... Also played varsity basketball and track, ended her career with the Devils earning seven total sectional championships in soccer, basketball, and indoor track ... Defensive Player of the Year in basketball, and Female Athlete of the Year her senior year.

Personal:  Parents are Susan & Frank Payne ... Has one sister Samantha ... Her father Frank was an owner of 2020 Kentucky Derby and Breeders' Cup Champion Authentic ... Also played college football and basketball at Brockport State ... Sister Samantha regularly trains at the US Women's Training Center, made ODP National Icelandic Team, and holds varsity records as a freshman in basketball and track & field at CCHS ... Payton graduated from high school with an Advanced Regents Diploma, took Honors Latin and AP Psychology, and was a three-time Scholar-Athlete ... Plans on studying Criminal Justice at EKU with a focus in Forensic Psychology.
