Earned all-district recognition after averaging 21 points and eight rebounds per game while shooting 48 percent from the field as a senior at Metcalfe County High School in 2022-23 … contributed 16 points and seven rebounds per game while shooting 46 percent from the field on his way to earning all-district honors as a junior … picked to the all-district team as a sophomore after averaging 10 points and six rebounds per game … also earned all-district honors as a member of the MCHS baseball team.

Full name is Jaxon Dale Allen … son of John and Tammy Allen … has one sister – Jozie … his dad John played basketball at EKU – a two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference selection, the 1990-91 OVC Freshman of the Year and the program’s fifth all-time leading scorer with 1,635 points … him mom Tammy played collegiate basketball at Lindsey Wilson College … plans to major in history.
