AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021-22
Saw action in 22 games and started 10 times … averaged 4.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks while connecting on 58 percent of his shots from the field … had a career-high 16 points against Lipscomb (Jan. 18) … pulled down a season-best seven rebounds at Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 27) … blocked a career-high seven shots against Ohio Valley (Nov. 11).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2020-21
Played in 28 games and started once … averaged 3.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game … shot 67 percent from the field (32-of-48) … tied for fifth in the conference in blocked shots … swatted a season-high five shots against Eastern Illinois (Dec. 30) … scored a season-best 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field at Jacksonville State (Feb. 2) … grabbed a season-high eight rebounds at Belmont (Feb. 11).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019-20
Appeared in 24 games as a freshman, all off the bench … had a season-high 13 points and five rebounds in a win over Ohio Chillicothe on Nov. 12 … began playing a major role midway through the conference season … had seven points and four rebounds in a win over UT Martin on Jan. 31 … broke out in a road win at rival Morehead State on Feb. 13, scoring 10 first-half points to spark the Colonels to victory … was credited with helping turn the tide of the game in the OVC quarterfinals win over Tennessee State … finished with four points and four boards against the Tigers … proved to be a solid rim protector … shot 63 percent from the field, including 65 percent shooting from the field during OVC play.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Miller School of Albemarle, a prep school located in Charlottesville, Virginia ... voted first team all-state and first team all-conference in 2018-19 ... in 2017-18, Balogun earned second team all-conference honors while helping lead Miller School to a Division II state title ... Miller School went 50-12 in Balogun's two seasons with the program ... he averaged 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds-per-game, while shooting 61 percent from the field and 48 percent from three-point range during his prep career.
