Keaton Belcher is in his first season as a graduate student for the Colonel men’s basketball team.
A native of Butler, Ky., Belcher played collegiate basketball at Belmont University where he helped the Bruins reach three NCAA tournaments – 2006, 2007 and 2008. The forward served as team captain as a senior and left the program as the all-time leader in games played (131).
Belcher played high school basketball for Pendleton County from 2001-05. He was named 2005 Northern Kentucky Player of the Year and was part of a team that reached the 2005 KHSAA Sweet 16.
Belcher earned his bachelor’s degree from Belmont in business administration in August 2009. He is currently working on his master’s degree in sports administration.
