Niklas Schroeder is in his second year with the Colonel coaching staff after spending the previous four years playing on the EKU tennis team. Schroeder was a part of the three NCAA tournament squads – 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Now a member of the coaching staff, Schroeder is responsible for on-court coaching, handling administrative tasks and executing miscellaneous duties off the court. Schroeder is also working towards completing his master’s degree in sports administration at EKU.
Schroeder earned All-OVC honors three times in his four years on the squad including first team accolades in 2010. He spent most of his senior season playing No. 2 singles where he went 5-2 against OVC opponents.
Off the court, Schroeder enjoys playing soccer and basketball as well as traveling.
