Biography
2012-13: Set a new personal-best in the 400 meters in his final meet of the season, running a 50.15 at the Cardinal Twilight on May 10 … achieved a PR in the 200 meters at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, finishing 14th in a time of 22.56 … was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished sixth at the OVC Indoor Championships.
2011-12: Had a strong spring as he posted personal-best times of 11.04 in the 100 meters, 22.88 in the 200 meters and 50.59 in the 400 meters during the outdoor season … came within one place of scoring points at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, finishing seventh in the finals of the 400 meters with a time of 50.67.
2010-11: Finished eighth in the 100 meters with a personal-best time of 11.28 at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships … also ran a personal-best 23.12 in the 200 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships … recorded a personal-best 52.73 in the indoor 400 meters at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet.
High School Accomplishments: District champion in the mile, the 4x800 meter relay and the 4x400 meter relay.
Personal: Son of Don and Londa Marcum ... major is general business ... one interesting fact about William: he has been to all 50 states.
