Biography
2008: Won the 800 meters at the Middle Tennessee State Invitational with a time of 2:16.47…Came within six seconds of the school record in the mile run when she finished sixth out 36 runners at the UK Invitational with a time of 4:49.14…Won the mile run at the OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 4:55.68, narrowly edging Samford’s Hillary Neal (4:55.90)…Was named OVC Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15 after finishing eighth in the mile at the talent-laden UK Invitational with a time of 4:56.88, placing her first on the OVC Best List…Redshirted the outdoor season.
2007: Finished second at the 2007 OVC Cross Country Championships...Named first team All-OVC cross country...Finished 18th at the 2007 NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships...Won the mile run at the 2007 OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships...Finished third in the 3,000 meters at the 2007 OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships...Was a member of the winning distance medley relay team at the 2007 OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
2006: All-OVC second team in cross country…Finished second at the 2006 Outdoor OVC Championships in the 1,500 meters.
HIGH SCHOOL: Fourth at the Ohio track and field championships in the 3,200 meter run in 2004...Named to the all-state and all-city teams.
