Mandy Moore joined the EKU women’s golf program as an assistant coach during the summer of 2009. Moore was a two-time NCGA honorable mention All-American at Wake Forest University. She earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in 2006 and 2007, and was selected third team All-America by Golfweek her senior season.
In addition to her athletic success, Moore was selected to the Wake Forest Dean’s List six out of eight semesters and was a member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll. As a member of the Wake Forest Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Moore organized and participated in community service activities and represented Wake Forest at ACC meetings.
Moore earned a bachelor’s degree in communication in May of 2007. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at Eastern Kentucky.
Moore has played professionally on the Duramed Futures Tour. She has also has worked in EKU’s Bratzke Student-Athlete Academic Success Center and at WKYT-TV in Lexington, Ky.
