Player Profile – Poffo can hit a variety of ground strokes and possesses a reliable serve … a very confident player on the court … should once again be a fixture in the starting line-up.

2012-13 (Junior) – Ended the season with a five-match winning streak … clinched the 2013 OVC title with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles in the championship match versus Jacksonville State … won the deciding match in the upset over Louisville on Feb. 14 … put together a 9-3 record in doubles with Saioa Oscoz at the No. 2 spot while winning all five OVC contests … advanced to the finals of the Flight C singles bracket at the Austin Peay Fall Invitational thanks to a three-set win over UT Martin’s Alice Laing.

2011-12 (Sophomore) – Won the No. 3 bracket at the Ball State Fall Invitational thanks to a three-set win over Ball State’s Ashlyn Rang … teamed up with Kristina Labeja to win three matches and advance to the round of 16 at the 2011 ITA Fall Regionals … posted a perfect 8-0 OVC singles record mainly at the No. 5 spot … led the team with 24 overall singles victories … won the deciding match in a 4-3 win over UT Martin on April 7.

2010-11 (Freshman) – Finished second on the team with six OVC singles victories (6-2), mainly at the No. 5 spot … earned a hard fought third-set tie-breaker win against Duquesne (7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (6)) to propel EKU to a 4-3 victory … also won the deciding match versus Morehead State in three sets … joined the squad in the spring of 2011.

Off the Court – Competed in 10 national championships and 16 regional championships in the last five years … climbed all the way to No. 2 in the Brazilian junior national rankings … won the second biggest tournament in Brazil – The Best of Brazil Masters … also competed in swimming and soccer in high school … enjoys swimming and playing volleyball in her spare time … her EKU goals include earning a collegiate degree and improving her tennis game.
