AS A JUNIOR IN 2013-14
Appeared in 29 of the team’s 34 games … scored a season-best three points against Warren Wilson (Nov. 13) and at IPFW (Dec. 29) … set a new career-high with two steals against Brescia (Nov. 22) … had a key block against Belmont in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship game, finishing with one rebound and one block in three minutes of play … shot 60 percent (6-for-10) from the field for the season … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2013-14 Colonel Scholar.
 
AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2012-13
Played in 32 of the team’s 35 games … started 21 times, including the first 20 games of the season … averaged 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds while shooting 55.6 percent from the field … scored the team’s first points in each of the first five games of the season … hit two free throws with 1.4 seconds left in overtime to give EKU a win over Towson (Nov. 17) … scored a career-high 10 points against Kennesaw State (Nov. 16) … grabbed a career-best six rebounds against Radford (No. 18) … chosen Comfort Suites All-Invitational Second Team … also scored 10 points against Crowley’s Ridge (Feb. 5) … 2012-13 Colonel Scholar ... during the summer of 2013, Muff was chosen to travel and play with the 2013 Athletes In Action Men's New Zealand Tour ... the team played eight games over 16 days in New Zealand ... they put on camps and clinics during the day and played games against university and club teams at night ... the group used basketball to share their faith in Jesus Christ as well ... the players shared their personal testimonies with kids at camps and with the fans at halftime of each game.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011-12
Redshirted … practiced with the team, but did not compete in any games.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010-11
Saw limited action in 14 games as a reserve forward … played a season-high 22 minutes in the win over Cincinnati Christian College (Nov. 23) … twice tallied four points including the win over Eastern Illinois (Feb. 12) … recorded at least one rebound in seven of his 14 appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL
Averaged 11.2 points and 7.8 rebounds as a senior for the Mustangs under head coach Joe Lynch … shot a team-high 45.0 percent (82-of-182) from the field while finishing second on the team in both scoring and rebounding … also won the 2010 state championship in the high jump.

Full name is Deverin Harold Muff … son of Terry and Terra Muff … received his bachelor’s degree in public relations in May 2014 and is now working on a master’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in sport administration.
