Comes to Eastern after an award winning prep career at Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Ohio ... Horak helped her 2007 team to a 24-2 record, sectional and district championships and a spot in the state sweet 16 her senior season ... along the way she earned second team all-conference and all-district honors, and first team all-county recognition ... she led the team with 76 blocks and was second on the squad with 270 kills ... was a four-year starter at middle blocker ... also earned two varsity letters as a member of the Bowling Green High basketball team while averaging six points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Daughter of Stan and Debra Horak … born Aug. 28, 1990 … has one sister – Jennifer, and one brother – Kyle … her cousin played basketball at Bowling Green State University ... plans to major in early childhood education.
