Made 12 appearances and started twice on the mound … went 0-1 with an 8.76 ERA in 12 1/3 innings … struck out 16 batters and walked 11 … made his first collegiate appearance at Ole Miss (Feb. 21), striking out two in one inning of work … made his first career start against Dayton (April 22) … pitched a scoreless inning of relief with two strikeouts at No. 17 Louisville (April 29) … Atlantic Sun Conference Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Beechwood High School in 2023 … first team all-state as a junior in 2022, batting .400 and going 7-0 on the mound … also chosen to the 9th Region All-Tournament Team as a junior … picked up second team all-state honors and was chosen as the 35th District MVP as a sophomore in 2021, finishing the season with a 7-1 record on the mound and a .400 batting average.

Full name is Mitchell Charles Berger … son of Brandon and Carrie Berger … has one brother – Marcus, and one sister – Makayla … his dad Brandon played baseball at EKU and for the Kansas City Royals … plans to major in business.
