Junior (2013):
Saw action in 38 games with 16 starts primarily as an outfielder with some infield work at second base … produced a hit in 10 different games … recorded two sacrifice hits in the win over Northern Kentucky on Feb. 23 … came on to record a hit three times as a pinch hitter … notched a pinch hit and run in the bottom of the seventh as the Colonels rallied to beat NKU 3-2 on April 23 … 2012-13 Colonel Scholar.

Sophomore (2012):
Played in 38 contests with 21 starts, mainly in right field … led the team with a .392 batting average … also finished second on the squad in on-base percentage at .423 … hit safely in 13 of her final 15 games … posted a personal highs in hits (four) and RBIs (three) in a 4-3 win at Eastern Illinois on April 21 … produced a bases clearing triple against the Panthers … chipped in with three hits at Eastern Illinois on April 21 and versus Murray State on May 5 … did not have an error all season long … earned a spot on the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2011-12 Colonel Scholar.

Freshman (2011):
Appeared in 40 games and made 32 starts … started games at six different positions (1 2B, 2 3B, 1 SS, 8 LF, 17 RF, 3 DP) … batted .209 with 18 runs scored and six RBIs … finished 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI against South Dakota on March 5 … went 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBIs and two walks at Murray State on April 22 … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2010-11 Colonel Scholar.

High School:
Led Ballard High School to a 67-13 record over her final two seasons … first team all-region as a junior and senior … 7th Region Player of the Year her senior season … earned all-state honorable mention recognition after her senior season … batted .409 with a .543 on-base percentage her senior year … team MVP in the Kentucky-Tennessee all-star game … was also a four-year member of the Ballard basketball team, scoring 1,129 points and grabbing 575 rebounds.

Daughter of Pat and Carol Heitz … born on Nov. 1, 1991 … has one brother – Kevin, and one sister – Natalie … majoring in homeland security.
