Carson Kipp joined the EKU football staff in the winter of 2025 as the Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance.
Before arriving, Kipp spent the 2024 football season at The University of Washington. During their inaugural BIG10 season, coach Kipp assisted the strength and conditioning staff in a sports science role working with Catapult GPS systems.
Prior to his time at UW, Kipp spent roughly 2 years at Boise State University in an internship position with strength and conditioning. In the 2023 Football season, the Boise State Broncos would be crowned Mountain West Champions and would go on to play UCLA in the LA Bowl.
Coach Kipp is also an Army Veteran by way of the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, KY. Kipp served in 3rd brigade, 3rd battalion - 187th infantry regiment (Iron Rakkasan’s) as a gunner in a mortar squad. While in the service Kipp completed the Army’s Air Assault School earning his Air Assault Badge. Kipp, along with his 3 other squad members would go on to win the 101st Airborne Division’s “Best Mortar Competition” earning the right to compete on the international level.
Kipp was then deployed to the southern border of the United States for 11 months assisting Border Patrol in the apprehension and deportation of individuals entering the country illegally.
Carson was awarded two Army Achievement Medals for both his time at the border and winning the Best Mortar Competition.
After completing his service, Kipp went on to graduate from Boise State University, earning his Bachelor of Science.
