Chelsea Hamilton was chosen as the all-girl head cheer coach in December 2018.

Hamilton comes to EKU after coaching at the Matrix All-Stars in Richmond, Kentucky.  Prior to working with Matrix, she was a cheer coach at Premier Athletics in Clayton, North Carolina from July 2017 to March 2018.
 
Hamilton coached at Premier Athletics since 2009 at different locations.  Before she started coaching at Premier she was a part of the UCA high school and college staff in the summer of 2008.
 
The Edgewood, Kentucky native studied mathematics education at Morehead State University where she won the 2007 UCA College National Championship.  She was named Morehead State cheerleading freshman of the year during her time with the Eagles.
 
In 2006 she earned the Missy White Scholarship. Hamilton won the 2006 Americheer Stunt Group National Championship along with the Americheer High School National Championship.
