Jalen Burbage was named the assistant wide receivers coach in the Summer of 2024.
Burbage joined the staff after his finishing his playing career in 2023 as a Colonel. That season he played in all 11 games with six total starts recording 403 yards and four touchdowns while earning a place on the UAC All-Academic Team.
Before coming to Richmond, Burbage spent four seasons playing at Leigh University appearing in 30 games with 81 receptions, 918 yards, and four touchdowns.
He also served as a primary returnman on special teams in 2022 with 32 kick returns totaling 697 yards and an 89-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
