McClurg joined the EKU coaching staff in the Spring of 2024 as an assistant inside linebackers coach.

McClurg comes to Richmond as a Lexington native with three years of collegiate playing experience from Morehead State.

In three seasons, McClurg appeared in 13 games as a member of the Eagles defense with 8 tackles his final season before having to medically retire due to injury.
