Senior Trey Bowling became the second straight Eastern Kentucky University men's golfer to win the Kentucky Open when he captured the title on August 14.

Bowling fired a one-under par 71 during the final round of the 89th Open and finished with a three-round total of 206, 10-under par.  Bowling, who entered the final round tied for the lead with Troy Hawkins, held off a charge from Andrew Stephens (208) to win by two shots.
