EKU senior Jalen O'Bannon was recently named the Madness Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week.
 
O'Bannon helped the Colonels to an 88-85 overtime victory against Eastern Illinois with a career-high 34 points. The Memphis, Tennessee native went 22-of-24 from the line, setting a new program single-game free throw record.
 
O'Bannon finished with a 10-point, six rebound performance in a win over Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
 
Through 16 games this season, O'Bannon averaged a team-high 13.8 points-per-game, and was shooting 48 percent (79-of-165) from the floor.
