Sophomore Alex Holderbach has swung a hot bat of late.  In his last 12 games, Holderbach has a .444 batting average with five home runs, 14 runs scored and 16 RBIs.  During that time he is slugging .822 and has a .519 on-base percentage.

On Sunday (April 30) he hit a 3-run home run in a 10-run fourth inning to help the Colonels beat Jacksonville State, 10-7.
