Paige Murphy had an eye-popping season. She broke 15 EKU records this season, including single-season home runs, single-season and career batting average and career hits.
 
The Louisville, Kentucky native was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week five times and the OVC Softball Player of the Year. She was chosen as the OVC Female Athlete of the Year, being the first EKU student-athlete since Lydia Kosgei in 2011-12 to receive the award. Murphy iced her stellar season by earning the program’s first All-America honors.
