Sophomore goalkeeper Stephanie Lynch was recently named the OVC’s Goalkeeper of the Week. Lynch recorded a season-high 11 saves against Fresno State last Friday night, and then led the Colonels to a 1-0 shutout of San Francisco two days later. 

Through six games this season, Lynch has recorded two shutouts and only allowed five goals.

Lynch has been the starting goalkeeper for the Colonels since arriving on campus in 2007. She set a program-record last year with 19 saves in a match against ACC opponent Maryland.
