Langfels has been one of many offensive catalysts for the Colonels during their four-game win streak. The sophomore third baseman blasted a walk-off home run in EKU's thrilling 9-8 victory over Bucknell on March 10. The next day, against Vermont, he hit a go-ahead three run homer in the fifth inning that gave the Colonels the lead for good.

As of March 13, Langfels was batting .419 with a team-best 14 RBI, two home runs, three doubles and three triples. His three triples this season give him 11 for his short career, one shy of the career EKU record.
