Pagano recently won the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:29.35 at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Cookeville, Tenn. It was her second career OVC outdoor title, as she won the 10,000 meters at last year's championships.

On April 22, Pagano set a new school record in the 10,000 meters when she ran a 36:07.10 at the Penn Relays. It was a school record that had stood for over a decade.
