Michaela Hunter was named the OVC Player of the Week for women's basketball on November 25 after averaging 20.5 points-per-game and 9.0 rebounds-per-game in the consolation bracket of the Preseason WNIT.

In Saturday's game versus Mercer, Hunter exploded for a double-double, droppping a career-best 27 points and grabbing a career-high 12 rebounds.
