Although just a freshman, Paige Murphy started every game for the EKU softball team in 2015. Her .349 batting average led the team and she ranked among the top five in the OVC in both on-base percentage (.456) and walks (28). The Louisville native reached base safely in the final 26 games of the season. Murphy earned a spot on this year's OVC All-Newcomer team and league all-tournament team.
