Nashville, Tenn. - The Eastern Kentucky volleyball team knocked off Tennessee State, 3-0, on Friday night to push its win streak to 11 matches.
The Colonels (19-3, 10-0 OVC) remained undefeated in conference play by holding the Lady Tigers (3-21, 0-9 OVC) to a .043 hitting percentage. Sophomore setter
Kelly Jennings fell three kills shy of a triple-double, finishing with seven kills (.778 hitting percentage), 35 assists and 11 digs.
Senior

Liz Guard registered a match-high 13 kills apiece, while Aldridge chipped in 16 digs for her team-leading 15th double-double of the year.
The Colonels tallied 68 digs over the three-game match with sophomore
Jessica Sabath chipping in a match-high 20 (her fifth contest of the year with 20-or-more digs). Eastern hit .275 as a team, including a .406 mark en route to a 30-10 win in game two.
Eastern will take a break from OVC play on Saturday with its final non-conference match of the regular season, a 3 p.m. meeting with Belmont (15-6, 5-2 A-Sun). A win over the Bruins tomorrow afternoon would give EKU 20 wins, marking the school's first back-to-back 20-win seasons since the 1990-91 campaigns.
