MARTIN, Tenn. - The Eastern Kentucky volleyball team held off Tennessee-Martin 3-2 this afternoon in OVC action.  The Colonels improve to 18-6, 10-2 in league play.
After falling in the first game 31-29, the Colonels came back to take the second game by four points (30-26).  The Skyhawks returned from the break and claimed a 31-29 victory in game three but EKU earned wins in the final two games (30-20 and 15-13) to leave with the match victory. 
The Colonels had four players reach double-digits in kills with Jessica Sabath leading all players with 26. Liz Guard added 25 kills while Amy Arlinghaus and Shelly George chipped in 16 and 14, respectively. Brittany Nobilio led the EKU defense with 24 digs. 
Rebecca Palmer and Jamie Hollins each recorded a double-double for UT Martin. Palmer tallied 19 kills and 23 digs while Hollins had 13 kills and 10 digs. Tammy Knoitzer recorded a match-high 27 digs.
