MOREHEAD, Ky. - Behind 12 kills from sophomore Bridget Mustard, the Eastern Kentucky volleyball defeated Morehead State 3-1 (30-26, 30-26, 22-30, 30-18) tonight in Morehead.  The Colonels improve to 16-13, 9-6 in the league while the Eagles drop to 19-12, 9-6 in the conference.  
Senior Jessica Sabath ended with a double-double of 10 kills and 22 digs.
The Colonels ended with a season-best 14 total blocks, with four block solos and 20 block assists.
Eastern Kentucky held a lead throughout the beginning of the first game, going ahead by as many as four points (15-11) before the Eagles knotted the score at 18 off a Colonel attack error.  Sabath put the Colonels back in front with a kill on the next play and Eastern Kentucky stayed ahead throughout the duration of game, taking the four-point victory.
In game two, Jennings served three straight points to begin the contest but the Eagles went ahead (13-12) with a service ace.  A Mustard kill restored the Colonels' lead (19-18) but Morehead State evened things up at 21.  Eastern Kentucky scored nine of the final 14 points to take the win.
The Eagles held a lead for the majority of the third game and forced the extra set with the 30-22 win.
Eastern Kentucky dominated the final game, taking a double-figure lead (21-11) with a kill from Mustard, and won the match with the 12-point victory.
Erin Peak led the home team with a match-high 22 kills.
Eastern Kentucky plays its final regular season contest of the year on Saturday night, facing Tennessee Tech at 6 p.m.
