Click here for Final ResultsCHARDON, Ohio - With its best score coming in the final round, the Eastern Kentucky men's golf team placed 24th at the 2006 NCAA Central Regionals, ending the event with a three-round total of 929. The Colonels carded a 302 in today's final round, played at the Sand Ridge Golf Club.
Sophomore Justin Moore was the Colonels' top performer, tying for 86th with a 228.
Sophomore Shaun McConnell and freshman Trey Bowling posted the team's best single round of the tournament as both fired a 73 in the third round.
Oklahoma State finished first with a score of 845, sixteen strokes ahead of second place finisher Northwestern. The top 10 teams and two individuals not on advancing teams will compete in the next month's NCAA Championships in Sunriver, Oregon.
Oklahoma State's Jonathan Moore captured the individual title, ending eight under par with a tally of 205.
