COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky’s volleyball team lost to Tennessee Tech, 3-0, tonight. The Colonels fall to 1-16 overall and 0-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Golden Eagles improve to 10-8 and 4-3 against conference opponents.

Game scores were 30-20, 30-25 and 30-14.

Junior Amanda Wilson led Eastern with 11 kills and had just four attack errors. Freshman Kate Hendle finished with 22 assists, 10 digs and two aces. Senior Brittany Nobilio, the OVC career record holder, added 19 more digs to her total.

Amanda Lindgren finished with a match-high 16 kills and hit .342 for Tennessee Tech. Leah Meffert added 13 kills and 13 digs. Kappy Lang totaled 46 assists. As a team, the Golden Eagles posted a .344 attack percentage.

The Colonels will be back in action on Friday when they host Jacksonville State at 7 p.m.
