Volleyball Falls To Austin Peay On The Road

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University’s volleyball team lost 3-0 to Austin Peay on Saturday. Senior Brittany Nobilio added 24 digs to her career total and now sits in 6th place on the all-time NCAA career digs list.

Game scores were 30-27, 30-23 and 30-13. The Colonels fall to 3-20 on the season and 2-11 in Ohio Valley Conference play. The Lady Govs move to 8-18 and 3-11 in league matches.

Junior Amanda Wilson led EKU with 13 kills. Bridget Mustard added 10 kills. Freshman Amanda Fago totaled nine kills, two aces and 15 digs.

Three players finished with double-digit kill totals for Austin Peay led by Kirstin Distler’s 14 kills. Five APSU players recorded 10 or more digs.

The Colonels will be back in action on Friday when they begin a five-match home stand by hosting Southeast Missouri State at 7 p.m.
