RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky lost 3-0 to Southeast Missouri State Saturday at McBrayer Arena. The Redhawks (9-11, 7-5 OVC) won by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-21. The Colonels (5-17, 4-8 OVC) saw their two-game winning streak come to an end. 
Junior 
Lindsey Loescher recorded a double-double, finishing with 15 kills and 10 digs. Senior 
Amanda Wilson hit .320 with 12 kills and two blocks. Sophomore 
Abby O'Connor posted a match-high 18 digs. 
Aubrey Dondlinger led the Redhawks with 18 kills and a .500 attack percentage. Claire Keaton added 10 kills and nine digs. 
In the first set, Southeast Missouri broke a 5-5 tie by scoring eight straight points, part of an 11-1 run that gave the Redhawks a commanding 16-6 advantage. The Colonels closed within three, 17-14, on a kill by Loescher, but they would get no closer. A kill by Keaton gave SEMO set-point and an attack error by EKU ended the first set. 
The second set remained close until Southeast scored four unanswered points to stretch a three point lead to seven, 21-14. Dondlinger accounted for two of the four points with a pair of kills. Eastern didn’t get any closer and after a 25-16 set two win, the Redhawks had a 2-0 lead. 
A kill by 
Hannah Groudle gave Eastern Kentucky a 10-9 lead in the third set. Three straight SEMO points, including a pair of kills by Keaton turned it into a 16-13 lead for the Redhawks. Kills by 
Bridget Mustard tied the score at 19-19 and 20-20 but Southeast used a 5-1 run to end the set and the match. 
SEMO finished with 45 kills and only 10 errors in a 114 total attacks for a .307 attack percentage. The Colonels committed 22 errors and posted 44 kills in a 118 attacks for a .186 hitting percentage. 
The Colonels will be back in action on Friday when they travel to face Jacksonville State in Jacksonville, Ala. The match is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. (ET).
