RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky lost 3-0 to Tennessee-Martin Friday night at McBrayer Arena. Britany Wilburn led the Skyhawks (9-20, 7-8 OVC) with nine kills. Senior 
Bridget Mustard led the Colonels (6-20, 4-11 OVC) with eight kills. 
Set scores were 25-16, 25-23 and 25-20. 
Eastern Kentucky committed 30 attack errors and totaled only 29 kills. Tennessee-Martin posted 34 kills and only 16 errors. 
Wilburn hit .533 for the Skyhawks and added three blocks. Breanne Carey and Taylor Noland each finished with eight kills. Megan Hitt totaled five block assists. 
A kill by Carey early in the first set put UTM in front 4-3, a lead the Skyhawks would never relinquish. A kill by Noland made it a 10-point advantage, 15-5. A solo block by Katherine Godina ended the set 25-16 in favor of UT Martin. 
A kill by 
Chelsea Lee followed by a Skyhawk ball handling error in the second set allowed the Colonels to tie the score at 9-9. A kill by Hitt gave Tennessee-Martin a four-point lead at 19-15, but Eastern rallied. A 7-2 run by EKU turned the four-point deficit into a one-point lead. 
Nicole Mulhall, Lee and 
Abby O'Connor each served up an ace during the run. It was Connor’s ace that gave Eastern Kentucky a 22-21 lead. 
The Colonels went up 23-22 on a kill by Mustard, but UTM scored the final three points to take a 2-0 lead at the break. 
Eastern Kentucky jumped out in front 8-3 in the third set, but the Skyhawks whittled away at the lead. A 6-0 run erased the Colonel advantage and put UTM on top 10-9. The set was tied twice more, but UT Martin never trailed again. 
Carey’s kill ended the match for the visitors. 
Eastern Kentucky will honor its two seniors before Saturday’s home match against Murray State. The match will begin at 2 p.m.
