COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky’s volleyball team lost to Jacksonville State, 3-0, on Saturday in Jacksonville, Ala. Junior Lauren Snyder led the Colonels with 10 kills.

Game scores were 25-18, 25-19 and 25-17.

EKU (4-15, 4-7 OVC) was out-hit .454 to .217 by the Gamecocks (18-5, 11-0 OVC). JSU committed only four attack errors in 108 total attacks.

Junior Autumn Harms finished with five kills and hit .308. Senior Lindsey Loescher had nine kills and seven digs. Junior #Abby O’Connor# contributed a team-best 14 digs.

Alyx Schulte led Jacksonville State with 13 kills. She did not commit an error in 25 attacks for a .520 hitting percentage. Kara Slater totaled 11 kills and a .667 attack percentage. Brittney Whitten finished with a double-double, posting 10 kills and 13 digs. Lauren Harkins recorded a match-best 17 digs.

The Colonels will play at Morehead State on Thursday at 7 p.m.
