The Colonels (4-16, 4-7 OVC) hit -.067 in the second set and -.032 in the fourth set, and lost both by 10 points. Morehead State (16-7, 9-3 OVC) out-hit Eastern .284 to .139 for the match. EKU committed 26 attack errors and five service errors. MSU held a 13-4 advantage in blocks.

Lindsey Loescher recorded 11 kills for the Colonels.
Autumn Harms contributed nine kills and three block assists. #Abby O’Connor# finished with a match-best 20 digs.
The Eagles were led by Kaitlin Craven’s double-double. She posted 11 kills and 12 digs to go along with three service aces and three block assists. Holly Evans added 10 kills and six block assists. Annie Gruenschlaeger finished with nine kills, a .562 attack percentage and 10 block assists.
The Colonels will play at home on Saturday, after playing three straight road matches. EKU will put its four-match home court winning streak on the line against SIU Edwardsville beginning at 2 p.m.
