COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After seeing its five-match winning streak come to an end on Friday night, the Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team got back on the winning track on Saturday with a 3-1 win at Tennessee Tech.

Eastern won by scores of 28-26, 25-16, 11-25 and 25-18. The Colonels improve to 9-12 overall and 8-4 in Ohio Valley Conference play. TTU drops to 6-16 on the season and 4-7 in league matches.

Senior Lauren Snyder was one of three Colonels to record 10 or more kills. She finished with a team-high 15 kills and made only one error in 33 attempts for a .424 attack percentage. Autumn Harms had 13 kills and five total blocks. Ashley Edmond recorded 11 kills and four block assists.

Leah Meffert led Tennessee Tech with 17 kills and five service aces.

The Colonels will host Tennessee State on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
