RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky will host Austin Peay for an Ohio Valley Conference volleyball match on Tuesday. Play will begin at 6 p.m. at McBrayer Arena. The Lady Govs are tied for second in the conference while the Colonels sit in sixth.

EKU (3-11, 2-3 OVC) lost its last match, at OVC leader Morehead State on Thursday. APSU (14-3, 5-1 OVC) swept Southeast Missouri and Eastern Illinois at home over the weekend. Austin Peay’s only conference loss of the season was a 3-2 setback at Jacksonville State.

Eastern Kentucky leads the all-time series between the two teams 36-20, but Austin Peay has won six straight between the two squads.

Senior setter Kate Hendle enters Tuesday’s match needing 20 more assists to move into second place on EKU’s all-time assists list. Hendle has 2,804 career assists.
