EKU Squares Off Against Presbyterian College Saturday Night

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team continues its six-game home stand Saturday night against Presbyterian College. Tip time is set for 7 p.m. Fans can watch the game for FREE with a ticket stub from the EKU-APSU football game.

Eastern Kentucky (2-2) scored a season-high 81 points in its home opener on Nov. 17. Four players finished in double figures while the team shot 51.7 percent from the floor. Senior Spencer Perrin recorded a career-high 20 points in the win over SIU Edwardsville. He finished 8-of-10 (80 percent) shooting from the floor while also hauling in a season-high six rebounds.

Presbyterian College, out of the Big South Conference, begins its schedule by playing 14 of its first 15 games on the road. The Blue Hose (0-2) almost upset No. 3 Kansas State Thursday night before falling, 76-67. Al’Lonzo Coleman led PC with a double-double (15 points and 14 rebounds) in the loss.

Storylines
--Sophomore Willie Cruz came within one point of equaling his career high on Wednesday versus SIUE. Cruz tallied a season-high 18 points and five rebounds. Cruz has recorded at least five rebounds in all four games this year.

--EKU is 3-1 against teams in the Big South Conference under head coach Jeff Neubauer.
