LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Eastern Kentucky’s volleyball team concluded play at the UNLV Invitational with a 3-0 loss to Cal State Fullerton (5-3) and a 3-0 loss to Pepperdine (6-4).

EKU lost by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-22 to Cal State Fullerton. Freshman Ashley Edmond led the team with seven kills. Senior Autumn Harms had four kills and a pair of block assists.

The Colonels (1-8) fell to Pepperdine by scores of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-13. Edmond had a team-best five kills. Junior Hannah Groudle had three total blocks. Freshman Robyn Hench totaled 13 assists.

Eastern will begin Ohio Valley Conference play at home next weekend. The Colonels’ home opener on Friday against Tennessee Tech will begin at 7 p.m.
