The Eastern Kentucky volleyball team will play its next four matches on the road, beginning with a three-match road trip that starts tonight at Southeast Missouri.  The Colonels will play at Murray State on Saturday and Tennessee State on Monday.  The stretch of four straight on the road ends next Saturday at Tennessee-Martin.

All four matches are key to the Colonels' season as one of the teams is tied with EKU in the OVC standings, one is directly in front  and two are directly behind.  If the season ended today, all four upcoming opponents would be OVC tournament teams.

Eastern is 11-9 overall and 6-3 against conference teams.  Southeast Missouri is tied witht he Colonels for third place at 6-3 in the OVC and is 8-12 overall.  Murray State (4-16, 4-5 OVC) is sixth in the league.  Tennessee State (10-7, 6-4 OVC) is fifth.

Next week's opponent UT Martin (12-7, 7-2 OVC) is currently in second place in the OVC.
